I got to the beach expecting to go kite-surfing, but the wind was blowinf at 18-20 knots and the sea covered in white caps, so I rigged my 6.3m sail and Hifly board. By the time I had the wind dropped, so after chatting to Stevebus, Ian and Ann for a while I set up my Wipika and went kitesurfing. A couple of others were already out, and there were 5 kite-surfers out in total.

It was OK, but the onshore winds and closely spaced samll surf made it difficult to gain any ground upwind. I was underpowered at times too which didn't help. Nothing special, buts it was good to be back out in the water with the sun shining.
